The Gathering: Transforming Women's Lives through Livelihood Opportunities, February 6th

• There will be a day-long meeting in Dumaguete focused on community building and outreach with UU women in Southeast Asia, around the theme of Empowering Women through Livelihood. The gathering will take place at the South Sea Beach Resort in Dumaguete. Click above for the agenda and program to register. Preliminary Activities: Explore Women's Livelihood Projects, January 30-February 6

• ICUUW and the Partner Church Council are invited to participate in the Educational Exploration of Women’s Livelihood Projects on Luzon and Negros Island. (January 30-February 6).
• Come and join ICUUW in January, 2012 for an exciting and educational exploration of women’s livelihood projects on Luzon and Negros Islands in the Philippines. Click on the link above for a complete itinerary and follow the link to register through the Partner Church website. This exploration is offered by the Partner Church Council and ICUUW (January 30th to February 4th).  The education exploration will be led by Rev. Rebecca Sienes, Coordinator of the UU Church of the Philippines, and Laura Nagel, ICUUW, Executive Director. Registration for the one-day gathering on February 6th is included in the price.  

Closing Activity: ICUU Conference, February 7-11,

• ICUUW participants are invited to participate in the ICUU Meeting in Dumaguete. All of the UUCP congregation presidents have been invited and will be showcased on Friday. Other session feature “Sharing our Faith, Transforming Our World,” and practice-oriented workshops.
