Erica is Deputy Director of Field Operations for The Leadership Conference on Civil and Human Rights, a coalition charged by its diverse membership of more than 200 national organizations to promote and protect the rights of all persons in the United States. Since joining The Leadership Conference in 2004, Erica has led grassroots campaigns on a range of issues including CEDAW ratification, Supreme Court nominations, Voting Rights Act renewal, high school equity, the digital television transition, employment discrimination, and transportation equity. In this capacity, she develops public education and grassroots advocacy strategies and tools, and works with national and local partners to empower and mobilize advocates around the country to push for progressive change, and currently co-chairs the Grassroots Committee of the CEDAW Task Force, the national coalition working to achieve U.S. ratification of the Convention on the Elimination of All Forms of Discrimination Against Women.
